A cozy bar where we embrace the Italian way of life - but mostly where we just love good food and for you to sit back and enjoy.

We have opened the door to our spot on the corner of Grote Berg and Bergstaat (Grote Berg 22). One of our favourite streets in Eindhoven, het Bergstraatje. And even more so now ;)
Find us amongst a lot of other small shops and lovely places.
A bar?
A bar, restaurant, cafe, lunchspot. We think 'bar' has a nice ring.
We will mostly be open until 17:00 during the week.
Serving schiacciata's and a couple of tasty bites. But we do love a good glass of wine or a nice cold Spritz. (So yes, we're a bar.)
On Fridays you can (should) visit us for aperitivo and a small, weekly changing menu.
Schiacciata
All the way from Italy to Eindhoven.
Schiacciata is a golden brown, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside sort of bread. We make sandwiches with it, adding fresh ingredients and homemade spreads/sauces. We're certain there's one to love for everyone.

When sandwiches make room for Spritz and bites.
We stack up our deli-fridge so we can provide you with some fun nibbles. Starting from 14:00 every day!
A Dream
Who is Pietro? It’s Pieter! True Eindhovenaar (Heezenaar but shht) who loves good food and the sound of his name with a twist. He has a really big passion for food and living a joyful life.
There’s a big part of Pieter that’s most flattered by people thinking he has Italian roots. He loves simple sandwiches with big flavours, an espresso done well and a glass of wine that makes you hang around just a little longer. To host people, tell you what’s on the menu and make sure you’re short of nothing.
A long time dream coming into existence! A place where Italian ease meets Eindhoven. Whip up a chair, bring loved ones and let’s enjoy together.
